Message from the Chairman of Corvinus School of Management

Corvinus University reflects the flow of history. From the '70s, it has been a bridge between “closed” Eastern universities and their counterparts in the West, and in the ’90s, Corvinus immediately begun partnering with a number of international organizations.

It was the first Eastern European University admitted to the Community of European Management Schools (CEMS), cooperating with the most renowned business schools in Europe (e.g. LSE London School of Economics and Political Science, Erasmus University – Rotterdam, Universität zu Köln, Bocconi University – Milano, HEC – Paris).

Corvinus also holds a membership in the Partnership in International Management (PIM) and European Doctoral Programmes Association in Management and Business Administration (EDAMBA). In 2007 Corvinus joined the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) that accredited our Executive MBA Program in 2009.

Building upon the heritage, resources and reputation of Corvinus, we are determined to provide the highest level of excellence in management education in the region.

The Corvinus MBA Programs, on which this brochure intends to inform about, provide rigorous and practical curriculums, and constitute, along with our international and in-company programs, one of the three pillars of our school.

To build upon our past of bridging different worlds, for the future, our University is aiming to become the key link between the capabilities and the ambitions of our students, between Corvinus University and the business world and between Budapest and the region.

Prof. Konrad Wetzker
Chairman of Corvinus School of Management
