Introduction to the Corvinus Executive MBA (EMBA)

This program is intended for individuals with a minimum of three (3) years of work experience AND either working in a management/leadership position or expected to be promoted to a higher level executive role in the near future. The program is also suitable for those who are committed to their present employer and intend to enhance their career jointly with the approval of their company. Usually, these candidates cannot afford being away from their workplace for longer periods and can only attend classes in modular formats, preferably during the weekends.

The program content and structure stems from the program objectives and expected skills and knowledge of our graduates. Details see here...

In order to provide integrative thinking and understanding of functional roles in corporations, required topics are organized into Modules. These Modules reflect the key areas that companies require as a foundation for any business school graduate. The Modules are lead by senior faculty and field experts who cover the necessary issues.

To facilitate the international needs and individuals choice, the EMBA contains an elective component as well, in the form of courses and/or international week program at one of our international partners.

Finally, a significant part of the program is the Thesis Work which is not that common in international MBA programs. This segment is the summit of the participants’ individual development, problem solving and integration of their studies combined with the defense procedure where communication and presentation skills are also demonstrated.
