Hungary ranks 24th in the area of education

The weekly magazine Newseek published its "Best Countries" special issue, ranking the top 100 countries in the world. Newsweek researchers tell you which countries provide you the best opportunity to live a healthy, safe, reasonably prosperous, and upwardly mobile life. With the impressive overall rank Nr.33 Hungary turned to be among the best locations regarding the education opportunities. Receiving 90.2 point out of 100 for education, Hungary's placed to Nr.24, followed by Latvia, United States, Slovenia, Lithuania, Luxemburg, Slovakia, Russia, Spain, Norway, and Italy. Number one is Finland, while Zambia closes the TOP100. Regarding the "quality of life", Hungary is ranked Nr.33. Source: Newsweek

UPDATE 08/30: Now, this late application is open for EU citizens (or Visa-free countries) only, because Corvinus School of Management is able to issue an invitation letter (required for Visa) for the Spring semester as the earliest.

The special application is available for Executive MBA and Full-time MBA applicants as well. In this part of the admission process we only consider applicants who perfectly meet the admission criteria, and we take especially in consideration the motivation of the applicant, and how she or he would fit into the already recruited groups. [Note, that Hungarian citizens who want to apply to Full-time or the Part-time MSc MBA starting in September 2010 have to use the centralized procedure of "Pótfelvételi" till August 10, 2010. Additional deadline for the thesis submission. Thesis defense takes place on September 14, 2010 at room E.3001. The Graduation Ceremony will be on October 5, 2010.

On Sunday, Professor Péter Ákos Bod reflected on the latest discussions about Hungary's relationship to IMF. He has been interviewed as an expert in the Hungarian public television "Duna TV". Read more (in Hungarian)... On Wednesday, Professor Sándor Kerekes appeared in a talk shaw on the Hungarian news television "Hír TV". As an expert of these topics, he was talking about the sustainable development, environmental issues, and challanges of the globalization. Corvinus School of Management is working with the top experts of the Hungarian economy and the CEE region. Like our two board members above, or teachers have extensive scientific background, as well as they are acknowledged for their expertice about economy and management.
